Introduction to me-101

Hey there, welcome to my first ever blog. Im not really sure if this will be interesting or not, but here goes.
You can call me Drak, the name comes from a charicter i created in one of my past epics. Drak is short for Drakiar (drak-are), please dont ask me what it means or where it came from. I dont know the meaning, and as far as where it comes from,,,,well, it came from that place of mystery, romance, and dread...that abyss i call my mind.
Im a 6'3" 240ish, blue-eyed country boy. I drive a truck cross country, so chances are, i've either been or coming to or thru your neck of the woods (if you live in the continental USA). I am a driver trainer, so sometimes i have a student with me, but mostly i am alone out here, and let me tell you, it does get mighty lonly.
Im lookin for people to comunicate with, as to ease that dreaded loanlyness that attacks me in those dark nights. Hell, a man could easily loose his sanity out here. I think thats what happens to most drivers. I have been driving most of my life, first time when I was 13. When I was 17, I told my Dad that there was no way in hell I would ever be a truck driver, and guess what.....here I am 15 yrs later....driving a dang truck.
Actually there are times I absolutly love my job, otheres when i detest it, but it pays the bills, not to mention it is in my blood. However, I do like the fact that I can pass on the little tricks I've learned over the years. You know, the in's and out's, the do's and dont's that seperate the truck driver from those that are steering wheel holders.
I see so many drivers that are discurtious, mean, rude, and outright dangerious. I take pride in the fact that I get to train them the way things oughta be done. Thats the problem with the drivers image nowadays....but thats another story.
Until next time
Be good
(or at least good at it!)

Welcome to the blogs! I've always thought it would be interesting to be a truck driver! It's kind of hot right now though on the highway, isn't it?

Oh how we all need an angel of mercy! Thank you for your welcome. Hot? Try scorching hun. I see such a wide variaty of climates, its hard to keep track of the temperture. But that's why they made A/C's right? As far as interesting, it can be, but with all the traveling I have done, I have gotten pretty jaded over the years. Oh don't get me wrong, I still enjoy alot of the scenery, but the traveling part is not so enjoyable when you cant share it with anyone.
Stay Sweet oh mighty Angelofmercy5!
