Cool, frustrating, weird.

Cool! E-mail from AdultFriendFinder tells me that 5 members (who I didn't contact or put on my hotlist) wanted to meet me!

I pushed the button that said I wanted to meet the first, and was brought to the profile. I e-mailed, indicating that I have no idea how to break out of the cyber cycle and actually meet (or even speak with) another member -- I'm not supposed to include contact information, right?

Repeated the process with 2 others.

When it came to contacting the 3rd, I was told that I'd sent too many e-mails today, and please upgrade. GRR. That's what this site is all about, isn't it. Getting "regular" members to upgrade.

Then I remembered that I had 220 points, which I could use to contact other members. When I went to that page, it wasn't the 10 points to contact I thought it would be (and even then, I'm not sure that would break me out of the cyber cycle) but 10 credits for a contact and 100 points for a credit (whatever that means). Thwarted, once again.

Then I saw that I could get more points by joining some of the sister sites, so I did. But when I went to logon to, I discovered that it's the exact same thing as AdultFriendFinder -- my entire profile (including this blog) is there!!! Weird.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens with the contacts I've already made, and try to make some more tomorrow when my limit is reset.

Till then, ...
