Land Hooooo........

Damn what a day......Got up and did my thing like every morning. Up by 630, out the door 730, go into town and back home by 815. Normal everyday thingy.

BUT this morning after gettin back from town and sittin here reading blogs . I had to go potty and

WOW......Where in the hell is that sound coming from?.....

What the hell is it?

My freakin waterheater, is blowing water, out of it!

"WTF"

"I FREAK OUT"

I live in a damn trailer and the damn heater is in the closet, behind everything possible that you can stick in a closet!

and While Im diggin stuff out of this closet, water is still going everywhere.

I DID findly get the water shut off, to the place. BUT HELL it took me a good 30 minutes to figure it out and I DONT know how long this damn thing has been spraying water. Its wasnt doing it when I got up this morning.

So now NO water in the place and still oceans of water on my floor. (In a couple of years, prolly have to replace that floor and Thank God there wasnt carpet in that room)

Anyway I couldnt get ready for work....SO......I called in and fallinstrgazer, she lives with me and she works at the same place I do.....She Called in tooooo.

WHat a day, couldnt play but got to clean up a mess.

So when I went to get hubby from work this evening, we went and got the parts to fix it.

So when we got home and a few cuss words......

I have WATER..NOW....and its NOT spraying all over the place.

HUmmmmm, Hubby good for something this time. I guess........

Well HELL I didnt have a handyman nearby!

So hubby got to do it!

Have a Good Dry Evening
&
Ill try toooo!

*HUGS*

, Hey Star,
This brought back wet memories! We had a mobile home too with the heater inside the closet...and I know what it's like to get to it, it's awful! We have had leaking heaters off and on over the years...really makes a terrible mess!

Glad you got it fixed and your water is back on!
I like the picture you put up, you have pretty eyes.

I don't know why builders do that (water heaters and furnaces) packed so tight. Hell make the house/trailer 2 ft wider/longer so you have some room to work when sh*t happens. Its like that with wiring in houses and cars , if one breaks its a pain because they cut it to barley make the connection. Give me a break leave 2 extra inches. Cost ?? 2-3 dollars for the hole house or car?
Its almost like they do it on purpose so you have to call a pro = big $$'s

Thankfully for me I know how to do all that. 44 yrs old /w 34 yrs experience = grew up on a farm which you learn very young how to do all your own maintenance on everything.
