Down side of older models....

damnit. yesterday i found out the hard way my gas guage is busted in my truck... and that it's a bitch to push that beast off the road by myself. Glad i live here instead of Arkansas. No hills around here. still, it'll be a bitch to fix, and that's only assuming it's the level float in the tank, and not the any of the linkage or the gauge itself. if it's either of them, it's even MORE involved. Why GM thought it was a good idea to use 4 thousand screws to put the dash on, i'll never know. and how they managed to make sure NONE of the holes will ever line up again, well, i don't want to know.

oh the joys of being your own mechanic. but, at least it's something i know how to do. I pitty those who have to pay for the same thing.

oh well, i'm done with my rant. later all.

My dad was an ex army Master Mechanic. i'm a qualified Journeyman Mechanic if i ever wanted to take the certifications. I won't, because i don't want to spoil something i love by getting paid for it. I also work on computers. and sew, cook, i'm an artist.. i also do weddings.... hmm, i'm beginning to see why my friends mom swears up and down i'm gay, despite the lovely young woman i'm getting married to... as soon as she sets a date...
