What a turn off?!

Just came back from another late night.. Nothing fun, just work.
But something came to mind when I was sat there observing people in lack of anything better to do..
Anyway, I was watching two girls in their late twenties. They were very much different. Both in the way they dressed and the way they acted.
One of them was really cute. Almost like a doll.. The kind you play with as a child.. NOT the Barbie kind. She was wearing her pink little outfit, spoke with a calm voice. Almost whispering the words whiles she was looking up under thick eyelashes.
Her friend on the other hand had the typical barbie. Only ten years of hard partying later..
Too much make up.. Just too much of everything..!
Her voice was loud and she cursed ALL the time!
It wasn't just the volume of her voice, it was the way she used it.. The way it sounded.
Like she'd been drinking whiskey for ten years straight. Been on the front row of a football game cheering on her team and being one of "the guys".. For ten years straight.
It was just all about "whoooooohooooo" "fuuuuck" "AAAAAllll riiiiight". ALL the time.

And I thought - Wow.. Does she attract anyone?
Or maybe it's just me being all too old fashioned?
BUT... Hmm..?
I'm all for female freedom and all that, but...Mark my word.. FEMALE FREEDOM!!
Can't we just be free but keep the feminine side?
Or does "being free" mean loosing the female identity? I hope not!
I feel free. Act free. Am free..
But I still appreciate the qualities that it bring me, being a woman..

Too much thinking again..
I think I need a hand here.

BN, well i know what you mean. i believe in the equality of the sexes (and races and other living things for that matter). but i believe in letting a woman be a woman and let a man be a man i.e., masculine and feminine roles are complimentary. you know ying/yang and all that metaphysical sh*t.

You are so right babe.

We have to stay better than men, not be like them

Now wouldn't it be pretty unequal if women should be like men to be equal???

I love strong women (mentally) who look like real women.

Naomi, I agree with your way of thinking - obviously there are some women (men too), who will make a lot of efforts (often misdirected though) just to "fit in/please", or whatever the purpose. No way that kind of "women/behavior", as you described it, could seriously attract me

It´s a bit too shallow for my taste
