Observation One

Thirty seven days ago I embarked on a whim of curiousity and subscribed to a silver membership at AdultFriendFinder. Although I don't have the time to logon daily I have had some idle hours to browse around and try to figure out the chat functions and look at a few profiles. I think probably the most interesting feature of the service is the webcam feature. I've had occasion to see everything from soup to nuts in the way of interactions between members. I wonder if people actually meet each other or if this service is merely a safe vehicle for the exhibitionist to perform. I am perhaps a bit out of the desired age range of the young and fabulous so my view may be a bit scewed from where I sit. I see multitudes of lonely lost people, and hundreds of singular pleasurers whiling away the hours fantasizing about that perfect match but I can't help but wonder how many actually connect face to face. With 3 billion people on the planet why are there so many alone? One of those questions that make you go Hmmmmmmm.

Yes hon, people actually meet face to face. Its best to chat and get to know them better first, see if its what you are looking for.
I have met some for lunch face to face. There are alot of wonderful people on this site. Some are not lonely lost people. Some know exactly what they are here for. Be careful though and good luck.

Hello bloggin,
I thank you for your response. I'm sure amongst the many most are just ordinary people looking for a diversion and some a vehicle to meeting. Not being judgemental, just making an observation and questioning. And yes, after all these years I am still careful. Smile

Most of all it takes patience. And sometimes it seems we are loneliest in the middle of a crowd. Welcome to the Blogs, I look forward to seeing you around.

Hello southernpeach,
Thank you for responding. Indeed in most aspects of meeting people it takes patience. Especially if you seek quality vs. quantity. Thank you for your welcome. All good things to you.
