I'm All Blogged Down

After reading some of the comments here, and watching the main page, I have to wonder, "How long does it take for a blog to show up on the New Blogs list?"

EXACTLY. This is a pause for concern of late.... It didn't always take this long for things to get posted... .but, now, I have to wonder. I have been posting some comments to the AdultFriendFinder IT folks on my blog as well. The more that is said, the quicker things are tended to on this site.

This area of the site has become wildly popular in the past month or so. I do not think they are prepared for it over at site headquarters.

I do not think there is a definitive answer to your question. I do know from experience that posting on weekends takes longer to update than during the week.

First let me thank you all for posting here. I really enjoy thissort of stuff. In a former life I was a newspaper publisher, this is sooooo much easier.

Well, if it's become wildly popular I'm sure it will become a premium feature soon. At least that seems to be the way things go here. I was on this site a few years ago, maybe it was when they first came online and as I recall you didn't have to be a gold or silver member to exchange email, that seems to have changed. I guess they are entitled to make a buck, but it does become irritating when the reason you joined ends up not being available unless you pay extra for it.

I'm going to speculate that since this is a free service that they haven't allocated their best resources to support it. Has anyone suggested that they add more servers or upgrade the ones they have?
