Purple blue overlapping cup

I did a whole bunch of variations on this basic glazing pattern: the overlapped at an angle. I'm not sure if I like it - its different but I'm not sure if it compliments the cup the way that rim dipping does.

This one is cool. I don't know anything about kiln or dipping or such. That is amazing.

How about overlapping using another diagonal? Like 'seeing water/coffee/milk/whatever "thru" the cup, "pouring out" with the handle side being 'invisible'?

And btw.: Can you make a cup inside-out (color inside), upside-down (handle flipped and the open side looking like an underside) or a combination thereof?
