Saint Patrick

Today is Saint Patrick's day (At least the parade, thanks "can't be true" )and for anyone in northeast PA it’s one of the biggest holidays of the year, I might piss off a couple of people by saying this but this isn’t one of my favorite holidays. It's not just the fact that I'm not Irish, for the record I'm a Polish/Russian/Slovak mutt. It's the fact that I don't need an excuse to drink, a lot of people need this day to go out, get hammered and the next day say "Well Saint Patrick’s day's only once a year". That's BS if your going to celebrate the holiday do it right, get out their, have fun and not just for the sake of celebrating, not just to get hammered.
But I will tell you a funny story, when I was 15 I worked for a Irish Pub/Restaurant as a dish washer, (I won’t say which one, I’m not a name dropper) and I was going to work one Saint Patrick’s day. They told me to come in around 2PM to start, but at noon I get the call saying they need me now. So I hurry up, get ready, make it there in a hurry to find that they only had about three clean dishes. They were stacked in the back covered in the most disgusting stuff I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even know they had this many dishes. So I start washing, eventually I catch up, I can’t even remember how long it took since as I was washing them they were getting used pretty fast.
And plus the waitresses were dressed dam sexy in the Irish outfits they had on, (thinking of them now......................ok I’m done).

I have to tell you, I love Saint Patrick's day and I wish it were today, but it's actually March 17th.
