Pretty good few months, and a really good day

Hi everyone,

How's it going? Hope you're well.

It's been ages since i've posted anything here. Things have been mental over the Christmas period, and still haven't slowed down. Lots of photog jobs which is great. Too many clients wanting a specific style of image though. Which i'll happily shoot, just for them to see how lame it looks, aslong as we have enough time. So you don't want it like that do you??? Hehe. This is how i'd have shot it.

Still no luck with hooking up with anyone on AdultFriendFinder. I just don't have time to trawl through the endless profiles and ping an email over. Well if that's my attitude then why should anyone else bother? That's very true. Might have to set aside 15-20mins every day. Fingers crossed.

The images been displayed are so much better now. I don't know if that's better digital cameras, better auto modes, or just better amateur photogs. Whatever it is, it's great.

So what's new and exciting? Ditched 35mm as a format. Didn't get the Canon 1DS2. Didn't get any new 35mm kit. Instead I'm investing in a 5x4" (or if you're in the US a 4x5") system. You'll fall in love when you see a 5x4 transparency on a light box. Which means i've gone back to film. I love it. And 5x4 Polaroids too!

How many good days have i had in the last bit? Quite a lot. I'm happy again. Which is great as i find myself not having to battle my way through life as much.

A few weeks ago on the A40, just past RAF Northolt, a biker had come off his motorbike. He was laid across the middle and outside lanes of the A40. Lots of people had pulled over to help him, he wasn't moving. His bike was about 30yds down the road on fire. Other drivers were going right next to the bike to have a good look. Which was crazy. I hope he was ok.

Bikers. If you're out there reading this. Take it easy, eh? If you're filtering through traffic, do yourself a favour and get those yellow clip on lenses for your lights so drivers are able to differentiate between you and a car.

Not really had a lens-cap-moment for a bit.

Alex
