Why is it that women’s clothes are so different from those worn by men. After all clothes are just a means of keeping us warm, protecting the skin or ‒ in the case of women ‒ making them the colourful peacocks of the human race aiming to attract men.
Almost everything they wear it would seem have that objective. Colourful swimwear, short skirts for the young (who are supposedly using the fashion to seek a first ‘mate’ and bright tops to attract.
With underwear why, I wonder, do women have supposed ‘sexy’ underwear that is not alright for men to wear. Okay a bra has a function and there is no reason for a man to have one. But pants or knickers ‒ I wonder why women are allowed by society to wear ‘sexy’ lace and trims while men are looked upon as odd if they opt for a bit of such sexy underwear.
Anyway I’m a peacock in disguise. I wear sexy knickers (and a bra), colourful tops and skirts and sometimes other girly things like bangles and necklaces. It’s the right of any human to dress as they want.
And if it scares the odd old biddy who thinks the world has turned queer ‒ then tough.
