Good health is something most people take for granted. Okay, we all have the odd cough or cold every now and then, but rarely anything too serious.
Now that was my case until four and a half years ago.
Then, just back from a holiday in New York I had a seizure in the night. Very scary to wake from that seeing two big medics at the bottom of the bed. I thought they were burglars and I was all set to jump up and defend myself and my girlfriend of the time.
Later the hospital said that apparently one in four people have epileptic fits (which is what they put it down as)... that was until five days later when I had another one. Serious stuff now.
Now it was a scan and an MRI and the news that I had a brain tumour - a low grade one thankfully - and as I am here writing this still, one that hasn't killed me off - yet!
So this isn't about sex. It's about real life. My real life.
