Alison's dream. Part 6. Making-up.

Mum also got me a pair of short girl’s socks to wear with my new trousers and jeans and a pair of low heeled pumps that I could put on without dad noticing anything ‒ even though I had now managed to conquer the two inch wobble of my heels and could walk well in them.
“Just put on a little make-up each day”, instructed mum, as she presented me with my first little make-up case. “Too much and you will stand out. You must be very subtle, especially at your age. No bright blue eyes and red lips yet ‒ and anyway your dad would see that at once. One day we’ll tell him all about it. But then it will be too late and he’ll have to accept it.”
I opened the lid of the case and saw the lovely array of eye shadows and make-up sticks, brushes, a couple of nice lipsticks and a mascara. I was so excited. Now I had my own make-up and didn’t have to use mum’s all the time.
From now on I could practice every day, a little of this, a little of that. Very soon I became quite good at doing it, putting just enough on each morning so that me and mum knew, but dad didn’t notice ‒ at least we felt sure he hadn’t.
Having my own make-up on, getting dressed as a girl, taking the special pills, all made me feel truly wonderful and girly.
Next part tomorrow
