How many have acually felt the earth move?

Excluding the earthquakes, I am speaking metaphorically. How many of you have had that encounter where the person you are with and yourself have had such a deep sexual encounter that it touched you deep inside and the mere thought of this experience still instills a reaction, physically, emotionally, or any combination of all three? I feel it quite often and I am told that I instill this reaction in my partners, or at least that is what they tell me. Is it because I am so secure in who I am that I don't fear giving of myself to accomplish this, or is it just random? What do you think?

It is the giving of yourself but also the wanting and the need to give pleasure to the one you are with.... to have the confidence to know that what you have to give is so worth giving....when you can sense what the needs of your partner are....feel your way under their skin....make that connnection....then it's good...then you remember it in your body and melt with the memories.....sweet times..

For a while I thought self-confince had been replaced by big ego's and the desire to pad that ego. Thank you ladies for reaasuring me.

Well you know the saying....nothing to fear but the fear itself....jump in and enjoy....stop thinking with you head and start feeling with your heart....it's so much better

I agree, but doing that has got me into a lot of trouble in the past, too much trouble, so I am gonna try to balance my heart and brain. I am gonna need a lot of luck.

I have had it, as well. I think it has to do with a few things. Knowing what you want, having that "chemistry" with someone, and taking chances(I guess that can fit into knowing what you want). I have had a handful of wonderful lovers, but one will always stand-out to me. We really had mind-blowing sex, and it was much more then that, but he is the one guy, I could actually completely surrender myself to.

« I am told that I instill this reaction in my partners, or at least that is what they tell me.»

Cum on, being so pretentious....

Could you not be using words of others,to construct an idealized image of yourself? If so, it says alot about the way you are seeing your Self.

Read Freud.

Ash,

I have had the fortunate experience of having had two different lovers (years apart) who literally rocked my world. The first was probably 90% a physical response. The second was 90% emotional, and the physical was the icing on the cake. I truly believe we made love, rather than fucked (pardon my language), and having experienced the former, I'll never again settle for just the latter.
