When I was a boy, my parents took me out on a boating trip. They were thinking of buying a pontoon boat, but understandably wanted to see if their kids would take to it or not. So we were using a rental.
I remember liking it a lot. There is not a lot to do- swimming, reading, eating, relaxing. It's just fun to be out on the water, although I'd be hard pressed to say exactly why.
OK, so we get back, and I overhear my mother talking to my father. She said something like, "I thought he [me] didn't like it, and I was thinking, 'Oh, crap,' but you know he did, from what he's said since then."
So note this well- shy people are liable to hold back and observe in new situations. Don't make any fast assumptions about quiet behavior. Some of us are not given to "game show squealing." In particular, I do have feelings, if indeed they are not on my sleeve.

Nice thing about this Blogland is people seem to be less close-minded then the rest of society. You can stretch outside your comfort zone a little more than your reservations would normally allow.|
