optimal number of lovers?

Aside from a spouse, what is the optimal number of lovers? Usually I don't have to consider this question as it is hard to find even one lover!

But things are looking up! I am not that good at multi-tasking as I said earlier. So generally I stopped at one lover. There are advantages to having multiple friendly lovers.

Lovers who are married are often unavailable. Work is very demanding for those with jobs. Kids, elderly parents and health problems also take their toll.

Polyamoury is easier said than done. Scheduling gets complicated. It is also hard to feel special toward a person when they are part of a crowd. In Saudi Arabia men are allowed four wives, but many do not have so large a harem.

Multidating also gets expensive, for hotels, gifts, etc.

So how many balls can one juggle in the air and not drop? And is it really better to have more in the air at the same time?

Is it better to be a serial polyamourist or a parallel one?

More questions than answers at this point...

Five sounds like a lot of them... One for each weekday like those panties with the days names on them? Weekends you rest?
