Wife's cherries

Another rant about foolish hurtful behavior.

My wife of many decades starts eating some nice red cherries in front of me last night! I ask her about them and she informs me they are really nice, and quite expensive at $7 a pound so she just got a few and I do not get any!

Now we have a family income of six digits, so we can afford an extra two dollars so I can share a few cherries. But what I do not understand is why would someone want to hurt the feelings of a spouse over such dumb and petty stuff?

If she has to hoard food couldn't she do it outside my presence? Too strange.

People never cease to amaze me.

Ladies, care to explain this one for a dumb guy?

In Africa, such disrespect would entitle me to kill or at least maim her!

Funny you should post this.

Mr. DCE and I went shopping recently and I put some cherries in the basket.

When they rung up as being $12.00 (it was a pretty big bag), he just about lost his mind while we were still in the store. We actually had a tiff about the same cherries after we got home.

We're not exactly broke, so I didn't see what the problem was. He said that it was outrageous to pay that much for fruit. Whatever, dude. LOL

I can understand your being upset. Mrs. Mustang was just rude about the cherries. I don't understand the motivation. What if you did something like that?

If we're ever in the same neighborhood and I have cherries, I will share.

Thanks! I don't understand it either so I posted it. Very strange behavior, but it is just cherries so I let it go. I guess she is a food fiend and I am a sex fiend. Cherries are nice, but I think preferring orgasms makes good sense.

ever save a leftover and maybe wish to have it for lunch the next day, all family members didn't wish for seconds, almost just gave the leftovers to the dogs, but you thought, wow, that'd be good for lunch tomorrow, then only to find it gone at lunch the next day, asked the man of the house what happened to it, and he just happened to get hungry and have it for a bedtime snack the night before??? same situation, snuck my lunch!! eating in front of folks without sharing? I teach my kids better manners!!
