Dividing housework chores

I read an article that claimed that while more women work at jobs for pay, they still do most of the childcare and housework too! Men need to increase their contribution to housekeeping.

Over the years I increased my role in housekeeping chores. Our son is grown and out of the house, but I became more involved in taking him to school, sports, tutoring, discipline, after he was 8.

Now I do the outside gardening, clean, take out the trash, walk, take to groomers and vet, feed dog, wash clothes, wash dishes, vacuum, maintain and wash cars, buy cars, computers, electrical gear, wine, food. I drop off recycled stuff, drop off and pickup laudry/dry cleaning.

I also work and earn money!

Wife cooks, dusts, pays bills, plans trips, shops for food and clothes, earns and spends money.

I have a more flexible schedule, so I do more...
