Color affinities

I was thinking about preferences for various colors.

I have always liked bright colors, especially red, orange, yellow, and blue. I rarely wear green shirts, but I do have green pants. I also rarely wear pink, purple or grey. Too gay?

Funny how colors define your style. I do like the burgundy or cordovan color in shoes, but usually wear black or brown shoes.

Generally, I wear dark grey or blue suits with burgundy or blue ties to court or serious events. Polo shirts and jeans are comfortable for casual wear, but dressing up can be fun too...

You are very bored aren't you? No plans for a Friday night? Me either. Being a natural red-head .. I tend to shy away from reds and oranges. My own wardrobe is filled with shades of green, yellow and browns.

lol, i love that post by elfandmaiden. lovely.

just through looking at bits of art i often think about the choice of colours that artists make. how bright colours like red and orange are associated with passion and ambition. purple used to represent spirituality and pink is a wonderful colour i think: all about romance and openness. so good choice of colours for clothing if they refect any aspects of your personality!

however, i have no idea what green pants mean....

Green pants go well with red, brown or yellow shirts. Purple is too much, but I like a deep burgendy color for shirts. Red or pink does not look well with red hair, so then green tops make sense. I find blue soothing and red, orange and yellow energizing.

Purple is my one of my favorite colors. My finger and toe nails are usually painted some shade of purple. The other color for nailpoish is Candy Apple Red. Black and white geometric patterns are common in my daily wardrobe. May be trite but my negligees are either black or red because both of those colors are flattering to my skin tone.
