What would you do?

How would you react if a person you dated years ago contacted you on here not realizing who you were?

This just happened to me and I think I responded in a pretty mature way (for me), but it's been more than 5 years so really a lot has changed since I was 21 anyway, right?

Man, it's a small fucking world after all...

LOL what are the chances right..and yes it is a small world. I would agree to meet him for coffee if you feel comfortable doing that with your camera in hand ready to snap a photo because I would love to see the look on his face when he sees it is you! You could do your own MasterCard commerical because the end result would be priceless as their ads say. LMAO! Hugs, Jazz

I already sort of 'fessed up when I sent him a reply message. That would have been funny though.

I haven't had that happen as of yet. I think it would be too funny, I would play with her abit till she realized it was me.

It was tempting. The guy did dump me by email, which is one of the lamest ways imagineable, I think, to ditch a person.

Check out my blog ! It happened to me and the guy was an A1 asshole first time round still spewing the same shit.

Depends whether you liked him enough to meet up again or whether he's an ex for a good reason.

I was going to meet up with him just to see his expression, but when I got the e mail from him (posted in blog), I'm sure as hell glad I didn't.

Whatever you decide, please stay safe.

WOW I don't know how I would react. I would probably call him a dumb ass because he didn't recognize me. LOL OR maybe make a date snd stand him up. But no that's mean. *sighs* Are you going to meet him? Good luck.

real36CgirlPA replies on 6/18/2006 1:40 pm:
Well, like I said to VCF, he'll probably block me. I don't foresee myself meeting up with him, though might be fun to catch up with each other and just hang out. He wasn't a bad guy, we were just really young and still stupid about relationships....lol

I'd laugh my ass off most of my past relations I am still friends with. So I would ask them what in the hell are they doing here at which point I would be prepared to answer the same question.

You're among the lucky few then. This guy I mentioned is about the only ex I wouldn't block upon first contact..lol.

I would be cool with it and be like "Hey man, what's up?! Remember me?"
But I have great relationships with my ex's, so I am probably not the best to answer.
