The fan plan

This year I am not dragging the air conditioner up from the garage under my apartment.

I'm going to attempt to use fans to keep the fresh air flowing. Current count of fans set up: 4 window fans (1 new today), 1 oscillating stand fan. I know from last year I can probably set up a box fan somewhere too and this will still be cheaper on electricity than the air conditioner.

I work on a non-air conditioned floor at the haunted warehouse, so as long as I can keep the air actually circulating at home it will feel 5x more comfortable than at work anyway. This is part of the reason why I've never used the air conditioner much at home when it's been really hot out...I'd just feel even nastier while at work.

Anyway, that's my plan. Maybe I'll figure out the perfect fan set-up and maybe I'll just sweat my ass off and be a mean-ass bitch when it's really hot out.

I was hoping summer skipped us this year.. This sucks. It's about 200 degrees outside, and it's storming. The upstairs of my house is about 500 degrees. I need to find a place to live that the temperature never goes above 75.....

p.s. Try dealing with all this heat with an extra 200 pounds on your body.... I need to get my hair cut this is awful.(bet if i got it cut I'd lose 5 or ten pounds.)

I think the hot weather just tricked us by coming late this year. You better have posted on your blog, Puma!

& you might as well get your hair cut if you're thinking about it anyway.

I loooove the heat doesn't bother me in the least but if it gets even the slightest bit chilly. You will find me in full winter regalia complete with a hood a turtleneck to bury my face in and gloves.

No fair. I hate being a heat wuss. I turn into a pissy little whiner as soon as it gets hotter than 90. But I wore a hoodie jacket for most of the winter. The cold doesn't bother me much.
