I'm bored - here's a cheap thrill

I can think of a couple of them. Here's one.

Take a dixie cup and fill it 1/3rd full of ordinary corn starch.

Add just the right amount of water - if you make soup, you need to add a bit of corn starch. If you have dry stuff, add a few more drops of water.

It's hard to describe what this is like, or how much water to add until it is just right, but the exact amount is critical to the effect. You want it almost goopy.

Stir the corn starch with your finger. The best way is probably to make it too thin and add more corn starch.

When you get it right, it's going to be very, very strange. The mixture will harden to a solid as you push/stir it, but change to a soupy goop when you let it go.

You can actually scrape it out like a solid ball into your hand, and roll it around between your palms. As soon as you quit pressing on it, it will literally melt between your fingers.

Another weird cheap thrill later...

That's how massage therapists learn the correct pressure to use for lymphatic massage. Push too hard and it doesn't move. Use the right pressure and it liquifies.
