Dominant Women

We all like to be dominated every once in a while, but when does it become too much? Swept off our feet by a strong gallant lover, or subdued by an overbearing partner?

Each of us has known in our lives an Amazonian Xena wanna-be, and while exciting at first, it grows old quickly.

Tell us about a strong woman in your life.

My mother...very strong yet soft and I never understood how soft until a few years ago.

There was a girl by the name of Jennifer that I met a couple of years back. She was 5' 11", and worked out at the Gym daily. And although she dressed femme, she was def a dom in bed. I kind of liked being taken care of, but after a while she started acting way too possesive and started to act like a husband. That is when it was time to say good-bye, I'm with girls BECAUSE I don't like all that macho shit ... but it was exciting while it lasted

I know a few strong women. But what i learned from them is how to temper the dominance out with a soft heart and gentle touch. Balance..theres a time and a place for everything.. you may never need a sportscar that goes 120mph, but its also nice knowing u could punch it and can. Damn spoken like a true switch that i am..**shakes head**

bella, I never knew how strong my mom was, until my dad died. thanks for bringing up moms

elle you never struck me as someone who would enjoy being dominated, even for a short time

bunny, I'd like to experience that tempered dominance, esp the part with the soft touch

You know the funny thing about this blog is that all my friends at work and others call me the amazonian women because of my heighth and build. But, I am a softy at heart. Most people I know think of me as someone who is very strong but I know that I have my weaknesses.

Devlish... I think the same tends to be true with men... If you are a tall, well-built man - there's really not a need to be 'macho' and lay on the bullshit... it seems as though it's the shorter, weaker men who feel the need to dominate...the 'short guy syndrome' if you will... now, back to the subject of strong, dominant women - my first experience with a woman yielding a dildo was with a strong woman... I enjoyed it immensely... and I still love a woman who knows how to wear a strapon. But like Elle's experience, she pushed it a bit too far. I prefer Bunny's 'switch' approach...balance is a wonderful thing, in life, in sex..

Balanced,

Sometimes I think dominated is confused with tamed or at least an attempt to tame. The only time I've truly been dominated, the person seduced me into WANTING to give up control..it was not TAKEN from me. Even so..as exciting and erotic as that was...too long and one swift smack on the ass too many and I issued the warning to run! Someone WILL untie me at some point dammit!!

Physically and emotionally it's much the same though...and the older I get the more I find I WANT strong women in my life and we end up gravitating towards each other..and when I need to 'switch' I have a trusted circle around me!

Personally? I think YOU are strong. You inspire me

Sin like you mean it!

Sinder, you're right. Sometimes dominated is confused with tamed. Why in the world would anyone want to tame their partner is beyond me. Don't we fall in love with the total person?

Thank you for thinking me strong, but if you lived with me you would see how funny that is

Call me a geek, call me a nerd, call me weird (or don't), but I need to ask: Do you have the book that the pic of the swordswoman comes from?
