What is the one thing you've always wanted to do?

What is the one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't yet?

Every so often I take a look at my life to check and see if there's something I've always wanted to do, but haven't yet. And then I look and see how bad I really want to do this, what's stopping me, and then....

Coming up on one of those "milestone" birthdays, the doing of things becomes more urgent. It is getting to be now or never.

I've always wanted to go to Australia.
I've always wanted to do a threesome FMF.
I've always wanted to find my soul mate and spend the rest of my life really living out loud with the lady.
I've always wanted to meet Bonnie Raitt.

What have you've always wanted to do?

And why haven't you done it yet?

my goals are simple, yet important to me:
make a difference in someone's life (i hope i've already done that)
find the man right for me at this time in my life
win the lottery (ok, so this one's not so simple, or easy) or at least be financially secure
write a great collection of great short stories
visit graceland again
too many more to list, but this is a fun exercise! thanks

an interesting pattern...some things are a matter of pure luck..lottery, finding right man,
and others are more responsive to wordly control..visiting graceland,
trying to make a difference in other's lives.
got a title for your short story collection
an horror action adventure thriller series
"Men From Cyberspace"
write one each day and post it...pretty soon....
well....

nah, it will be a collection of fiction, probably some mysteries, some outside of the usual genres, but not horror, blood & guts, or the like
i've written a few in my head, it's just taking a few years longer than expected to transfer my ideas to paper
and thanks for responding to the many posts here - nice guy, you are!

ps - the collection of "cybermen" stories will come under the heading of comedy, of course

I understand. If I were to do a "cyberwomen in real life" I've only met 3...and two of them had living rooms filled with boxes and stuff so I didn't get past the front door.

Ehem... (whispers to catkit: NaNoWriMo dot org)

OK... I'm going to try single-handedly to bring 100 or so more ppl into the writing month I can't wait. lol.

Puntachueca: umm... i'm so sidetracked. lol. ok: why did 2 of the women you've met in real have living rooms filled with boxes? Were they moving? or were they leftover from having moved and never got around to unpacking? Seems a common problem (though my boxes are slowly but surely disappearing). Boxes never bothered male guests. Actually I've been complimented on how relaxing and comfy my apartment is, despite my clutter.

Life Lists Wonderful things. I posted mine on my blog a while back.

Travel to Spain via Morocco.
Learn to drive Semi.
Learn Salsa and Tango dancing (though i did get a mini salsa and merenge lesson since i created my list. still lots to learn i'm sure).

at the moment, i'm just working on getting a better job. once that's accomplished, i'll have time and $ for the rest.

The boxes and stuff had been there for years in both cases...kind of felt like being invited into the caves of wicked witches...I have all my boxes stuffed in the spare bedroom.
