Oops!

Go figure! As I have been sitting here, quite awhile mind you, reading various blogs, trying to catch up on my comments and responding, peeking at new blogs, and trying to find some creative inspiration for me to post on my blog. Lo and behold something happened alright! I wouldn't say it was the creative inspiration I was in search of though either! I spill my soda! ON my computer desk. ON my printer! So, I try to contain it while asking my child to bring me a towel. My child comes in bearing a towel, I say, "Thanks baby, Momma spilled her soda," ever so innocently my child responds with, "thats why you need to be more careful."

Can you say D'oh!

Well, I tend to lean towards saying "Son of a gun! Great, just great!" or "Crap a duck!" I know...I'm terrible! lol.

Kids call them like they see them, and they see some things differently than us old-timers.

Scary thought, I get told how sarcastic I am. Hope my child isn't as bad as me! Darn it, I had to be cursed with wit and sarcasm.

You are right, kids aren't as jaded as we adults are. They see everything with fresh eyes. To bad they can't keep them forever.

i was sitting in a chair a while back, tipped it back on the hind 2 feet. started to stretch my arms behind me. went a little too far back. yep, chair and i went crashing to the floor. my nephew came running over and said "thats a good way to break the chair" i started to wonder if someone was going to join him and say, "heres your sign".

Yep, no doubt! I feel like that often as well. In all actuality they just repeat the things that you tell them. "Be careful, don't spill it" "keep all 4 feet of the chair on the ground" "hold on, don't let go" "take your time, don't rush".
