No longer sitting and waiting!!!

Okay, its official, Spring is here. Ummmm...where is the warm weather at???? They were saying it was going to snow one day, be 50 the next and then ice the day after that???? C'mon! Give me some 65 degree weather for awhile! I have things I need to do!

I don't know, maybe its just a touch of "Spring Cleaning" or what. I have been spring cleaning for years, since I was a little girl. Yet I don't remember once seeing my mom doing all of this, nor do I remember her making us going as far as cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors on our hands and knees. Even when our grandmother came to visit, she didn't do that! lol. Now my grandmother is an entirely different blog entry so I won't say to much now. Granted, she also didn't have to do outside yard work, my grandpa or us girls did that and my dad usually fixed and built things. I'm still waiting to start building my flower beds for the front of my house. My dad is supposed to come over and bring the saw and to help. I'm going to do it myself, I feel the need to build! *best Tim Allen Arr Arr ARR* I don't have my truck right now so I can't pick up some landscaping timbers. Ugh! Not to sure why that is, I suppose I'm tired of just sitting and not doing anything after work or on the weekends.

Here I am on a Sunday morning, calling places to see if I can rent a carpet shampooer. Uh huh, makes alot of sense. Suddenly, looking at my carpet as it is is driving me batty. Well it did before, but I was just going to get new carpeting. Now, I don't want to wait. Last night I stayed up until 3 a.m. cleaning the kitchen floor and bathroom floor. I know, doesn't sound like a big deal really but I was on my hands and knees with a tub of hot water and bleach, cleaning it with a rag. Got all the little spaces around cabinets, fridge, tub, corners, vanity, etc. Boy did the bleach get to me after a while. I was still smelling it when I woke up this morning! lol. Tomorrow I have plans on calling the furniture company to see how I can get a piece on my bedroom furniture fixed. Tired of waiting for it to be done. Also, I'm calling a plumber to fix a my washer drain, its clogged I suppose and I'm moving the washer and dryer cleaning under them and behind them. I also plan on cleaning out the laundry room and storage cabinets in there. I know that is alot to do and I am going to try to get it all done.

My husband has promised me that when he gets home, he will get the walls done so I can get them primered and painted. We shall see, most likely he will be "not feeling good", "to tired from working so hard" or just not around much. We shall see, thats still several days away. To much time until I will know, but just for the record I'm betting its not going to occurr.

Now I am comtemplating on whether or not this is just "Spring Cleaning" or perhaps a need to prove to myself and others that I can do things on my own and don't need a certain someone? Then again as I try to analyze my motives, maybe I'm doing this in hopes of trying to make him do something in return, and will it backfire b/c he sees that I can do all of this, he thinks he doesn't have to do it, b/c I will end up doing it myself? Grrrrr...all the questions and doubts, why can't I just stick to the I'm trying to prove it to everyone point????

So sorry for the long blog entry, time to check on a carpet shampooer again! lol. I know its alot of things to do in one day and I am going to try to get as much as possible done. Maybe I will be able to sleep tonight. Wish me luck and any suggestions on what else I might clean, or thoughts about any please respond!!!!!

P.S. I kind of met a guy that I am sort of interested in. He seems to be really nice, fun, and smiles alot. Also, has awesome eyes. He is kind of nervous that I'm married. So I dunno, any suggestions?

For the record, I wasn't out looking and nothing has happened between us. We've just talked. Also, I do realize that would put me on the same level.

Hold on my post was supposed to be ironic. I am not entirely agreeing woth TigerT here. If you were looking around then no crime has been committed so do not get defensive. People often have their cakes and eat it. I think there are certain conditions which exist where you have to put yourself first and I reckon from what I know you qualify. You should not embark on anything before you have entirely emotionally finished in your current relationship, and indeed you need to be sure, but what the hell, you are no nun.
