WTF..!!!!!

.

Okay...I KNOW today is June 6th...but why does every Doomsday-person in the world have to crawl out of the woodwork to be on TV, the radio, and in the newspaper, to announce to the world that the devil is coming today..?

Wake up, foolish people..! It's NOT DOOMSDAY..!!! The devil is NOT coming..!

You want the devil...rent the video or DVD of "Rosemary's Baby"...bug the people who stock the shelves at Wally-World to dust off last year's unsold Halloween costumes, and dig through them...maybe you'll get lucky..!

Today is actually 6/6/06...or if you want to get real technical it's 06/06/06...not 6/6/6..!

You'd have to go back 2,000 years to have it accurately written that way..!

Being born in 1955, I just made it for 5/5/55.

I can still remember our school Principal, announcing over the loudspeaker, with the morning announcements...and saying, "today is 6/6/66..!"

7/7/77...8/8/88...9/9/99...01/01/01...02/02/02...03/03/03...04/04/04...05/05/05...even Y2K..! I've lived through them all...nothing ever happened...no end of the world...no world-wide blackouts...and certainly, NO DEVIL..!!!

June 6th, will ALWAYS be D-Day, to me...remembering and honoring all those that participated in the Allied invasion of Nazi-held Europe on June 6, 1944.

So those of you that are a few bottles shy of a full six-pack, can wake up tomorrow...see the sunshine or clouds...and crawl back into your covens until June 6, 2066...the next time you'll have something to get excited about..!

I won't be there to listen to it. I would've been 111 years old..!

Yes it is kind of sill isn't it? There was a 6/6/1006 maybe it is all over and no one really cared. And besides it is 6/6/2006 so can you just dump the other 2000 numbers do they count? Yes this is D-Day that is the day we should be happy about and no one has mentioned that. A number is just a number. Now a while ago I went to see if I could change my SSN you just don't know who has it you know, well they told me that I could not change my number unless there was a 666 in the number hmmmmm maybe having that number would be a good thing. Later girl JD.

I'm glad I'm not the only one picking up on this. You know very few people talked about the fact that it was D-Dday and instead jumped on the 666 bandwagon. I hate to draw this inference because I can only speculate, but in general, the religious ones are the folks jumping at the 6/6/06 thing, yet the political party that they are so closely associated with takes pride in the fact that they are so patriotic. My point is that now I know where their priorities lie, or at least adds to my suspicions about their priorities.
