NIPPLE SCRATCHER WANTED

I am suffering with this poison ivy. I woke up in the middle of the night and found myself scratching....now it is on my nipple. It is spreading!! This morning after my blood work I called my doctor about my poison ivy. You know what that stupid, snotty bitch receptionist / nurse told me? "The doctors can't see you today or prescribe steroids unless it is really bad. For example, in your eyes or mouth. Try some milk of magnesia ...it helps dry it...or some Benadryl. See how that works and call us back by Thursday if it isn't better." I'm thinking.."Fuck You Lady!!" I've been using the Benadryl and the Benadryl gel and it isn't cutting it! I need some medicine! Yeah...wait till Thursday when half of my body is covered! There is a PERFECT example of health care in America for you. I'm thinking it is time to switch doctors. Mr. Prag is coming home from work to take me to the hospital. I feel like placing the following ad:

Busy married woman seeking a FT experienced and energetic person for multi-purpose work to included rubbing, bathing, scratching, stroking and experienced in applying medicinal lotions. Experience with medicine and the ability to muti-task is required. Reliability is a must. Experience preferred. May train. Excellent pay with bonuses. Fax resume to pragmatiCTcpl care of A.F.F.

P.S - If you currently work in my physicians office...go fuck yourself...!!

I hate it when the receptionist/nurses tell you things like that. If it wasn't bad you wouldn't be calling! DUH!

I hope that the hospital can do something for you!! If only I lived a little closer, I would come to rub you down.

well, at least so far you dont need an ass scratcher, it might be hard to find someone FT...lmao...

I thought there used to be certain type of medicinal bath that you could take like...aveeno or something.

The baths may work for some...but they don't do diddly for me..!

If you have any cucumbers you can throw them in the blender and puree them. Apply the mash to the skin, cover with loosely woven fabric, and try and lie down. It will help temporarily. Another temporary help would be aloe vera gel, but you have to read the label of the commercial stuff and make sure that it is mostly made of aloe vera. Wish I could offer more assistance to you and Mr. P, hope you two get relief soon.

Unfortunately, none of the over-the-counter gels and lotions work for me...guess I'm just going to have to wait until the steroids kick in and do their magic.

I may use the cucumbers though...when I'm feeling better...and they won't be going in a blender..!

Well, as a nurse...I'll apologize for the one you talked to. But you might be right about switching doctors. PS...I called that 800 number above.....and its not valid in my area! LOL I'm sorry that you are so miserable. Lets pray it doesn't spread anymore.

Switch doctors, but make sure you tell your present doctor WHY you are switching doctors.

If you choose to keep this doctor, call back and ask to speak with the office manager or ask to have the doctor call you back!!!

Good luck in the ER, wish it was mine you were coming to, I'd make sure you got treated right away.

Good luck sweetie
