Hey doc...got a question for you...

.

As I was driving back from my semi-monthly visit to one of the project sites in Waterford...and I got near Exit 74 on I-95 --- for Niantic...traffic slowed down a bit and I was able to read most of the signs before that exit.

There was the one for Camp Rell...Mohegan Sun (of course...even though I was going in the opposite direction..!)...and one I had never noticed before.

There...on a mondo-sized, State Tourism, chocolate brown-background sign...were the letters telling me to take Exit 74, off I-95...to visit the
"CHILDRENS MUSEUM."

I immediately thought of you, doc...docdirk...knowing that you live in that neck of the woods...and wondered if you could answer my question.

Do they really have a museum with children in it..?

Are they stuffed...or are they real..?

And...if they're real...are they really children, or "little persons" dressed up like children..?

Who knows...depending on your answer...I just may take Mrs. Prag along with me next time I'm down that way..!

She loves children..!

Do the kids get paid? wouldnt that fall under child labor laws?

Every couple of years they would have to change their "displays"

Oh and stay away from the terrible twos section unless its nap time

Recently, a law was passed in NL county stating that any child who:

acted like a brat, spoke out of turn, screamed at the top of his/her lungs, ran over your foot with a shopping cart, pulled the dogs tail at 7am causing it to bark non-stop while others sleep, skate-boarded in a busy parking lot or otherwise annoyed grown ups or acted like an ass - would be taken away to a secret mountain location in Southwest Peru and "trained" to act civilly. Shortly after, NL county was completely devoid of children.

Not long after that, happy, excited, even giddy adults partied wildly into the night, breaking many laws. In an attempt to regain control of the city streets; law enforcement erected The Children's Museum, complete with life-sized mannequins who screech loudly at random intervals. This was to act as a warning - to remind us that the plague could be returned to reign upon our doorsteps once again. So far, it's worked. We all pray that it remains so.

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...
