Choose Wisely

My son hasn't been home this week. Therefore, we have been able to catch up on our sex life. If you have children, you know exactly what I mean. Gone are the opportunities when you can have spontaneous sex in the living room while watching television.

Mr. Prag and I were just sitting home last night, and I said, "Do you want to watch television, eat ice cream, or have sex?" He replied, "Watch television and eat ice cream."

We both watched the Band of Brother marathon on the History Channel with our bowls of "Forbidden Chocolate" Ice cream. My husband loves to watch movies or shows that he has already seen over, and over, and over again.

I can't complain. We have made the most of our week together. Even though I have developed an eye infection in both of my eyes, and have to wear my "ugly" glasses. I'm going to the eye doctor this week. In the meantime, I'm unable to wear my contacts or any make-up...it hasn't stopped us. I just can't see a thing while we are having sex and Mr. Prag made the comment..."Well I guess fucking you in the eye is out of the question!"

Last night, as we were going to bed....the phone rang. It was my son. He was crying and said, "Mommy, I miss you and want to come home. Dad is okay, but he isn't the same as you." We spoke for over a half an hour and he tugged at my heartstrings. He even brought a few tears to my eyes. My son was home sick. I agreed that if he wanted to come home early, it would be fine. He asked, "Mom, are you crying too?" I replied, "I miss you too honey, just hearing you so sad makes me tear up. I know...I'm weak." He then said, "Mom, your not weak, your emotional."

When I finally, returned to bed Mr. Prag was asleep and snoring away.

This morning, when I told Mr. Prag that my son might be coming home early...I think he might have rethought his choices from last night.

Nah...!! He'd still go with the television and ice cream. Who am I kidding?

J likes to watch the same movies over and over and over again! Gets annoying sometimes

I know the feeling Cin..!!

It drives me crazy...Mr. Prag would rather watch a movie he has seen a hundred times instead of a new movie. Some movies..okay...all the time...BORING!!!

How you two make me chuckle! We've had a few of those regrets over lost opportunities! But our interruptions are our grandsons! lol

i was sure our daughter had a sex radar when she was smaller. the sight of a closed door attracted her like ants to sugar. we used to laugh and say that kidz are sex-killerz! of course uninterrupted ice cream and marathon television has it's merits.
