lay across my big brass bed...

Which do you think are some of the sexiest songs? (songs you like to "get going with it" to?)

Some so far: U2's "with or without you", Eric Clapton's "Layla", Percy Sledge's "when a man loves a woman", "in the midnight hour", Donna Summer's "love to love you..", most anything by Luther Vandross, Michael Bolton, Sade, "unchained melody" by the platters, "someone to watch over me", "rainy night in georgia", "as time goes by", "feel like making love" by Bad Company, "I want to kiss you all over" by Exile, "you send me", stuff by James Last Band, Ravel's "bolero"...

Along the lines of what you've got listed above...

--"Feelin' Love" by Paula Cole
--"Like Lovers Do" by Heather Nova
--"Total Ecliple of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler
--"You Can Leave Your Hat On" by Joe Cocker
--"I Can't Stand the Rain" by The Commitments
--Various songs by Enya

Less Traditionally...

--"Stairway to Heaven", the first song off the "Stairways to Heaven" Tribute Album
--"Crazy", a Patsy Cline cover by the Kidney Thieves
--"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails
--Any number of Lords of Acid songs
--"Sundown", a remix of the Gordon Lightfoot song (very hard to find).
--Various music by Yello and Enigma
--Some music by Bjork and Sinead O'Connor
--Prince (need I say more?)
--"Black Betty" cover by Tom Jones

I could go on and on with a list, but perhaps I'll come back with more at another time.

"Green Book" and "Almost Gothic" by Steely Dan
"Sun King" by Danny Gatton--though it's an instrumental, the lush guitar chords are as sexy as any lyrics I can think of.
Jazz guitarist Grant Green esp. "Idle Moments" CD---pristine!
Etta James Album: "Mystery Lady"

Songs covered by the likes of Stacey Kent and Diana Krall are
sexy to listen to, but actually having sex to them seems like a
bad idea.

I'll correct myself: the Gatton song is "Sky King" (not Sun)
Also Eliane Elias (or any bossa nova)

Depends on my mood really but some of my favorites off the top are:

Most everything by Prince
Nine Inch Nails - I wanna fuck you like an animal
Depeche Mode - damn..pick one?
Sarah McClachlan - just play the whole cd lol
Dishwalla - Opaline is great
Bad Company - Holy Water
Tricky is good, toooooooo

Just about anything with a sleazy bass line will do...

Sin like you mean it!

How about "Me and Mrs. Jones" for all us married's to whom so much of the excitement is the tease and play leading up to the actual encounter!

Unchained Melody was always a good slow dance. That will get me going no doubt about it.

Let's get buck naked and F*#k- Marvin Gaye (LOL, I've actually never heard this song, but I liked the title.), Baby,Baby,Baby-R.Kelly (after I figured it out), Good To You-Vivian Green,
Say Yes-Floetry, Portugese Love-Teena Marie, Here we Go-Minnie Ripperton...and sometimes theres those moments where you dress up in a lamp shade, arm yourself with a couple cans of whip cream and put Elephant Gun and Bump and Grind by David Lee Roth on repeat. (Don't ask)

how about Chris Isaak's Wicked Game...very seductive!!!! My favorite love song.

What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you.
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you and,

I want to fall in love.
No, I want to fall in love.
With you.

Some years ago, I think in the late 50's Rusty Draper sang "Roll me over in the Clover" and went on to sing "do it again"

The Stones (I think)GLORIA and Lets Spend the Night Together.
Linda Ronstads (Sp?) Angel of the Morning
We'll Sing In The Sunshine (Female singer-Not sure who)
(I will never love you, the cost of loves to dear. But though I'll
never love you, I'll stay with you one year.)
And of course "Sister Golden Hair Suprise" by the Eagles.
And what about "Radar Love"? Who sang that? Also "Lightning Striking"
(When I see lips waiting to be kissed)
