The dance

I am new to this blog stuff and there are a lot of things I would love to talk about. However time constraints with my job keep me from doing this daily. With a little time management I might start writing more often.
On New Years Eve I had a date to go to a dance at a local hotel. I like going to those dances because you get to meet new people and interact with the people at the table. Our table was in the front next to the dance floor in the main ballroom. The hotel had set up a second ballroom because of the overflow of people wanting to attend. We had a room on the 17th floor with a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
As we dress we took pictures of each other. She had a surprise for me and I had one for her. She had brought a beautiful evening gown to wear that evening. She would not let me see it until she was completely done dressing. She would make me close my eyes whenever SHE would walk through the room.
My surprise, I brought my tux with her choice of three bow ties and three matching cumber-buns. She chose the black silk one. I was hoping she would pick that one. It is my favorite one. Great taste. Gotta love her. When I finished dressing it was time for the fashion show on the red carpet. I think the carpet was blue but you can always use your imagination. She was absolutely gorgeous. My face lite up. That was the most beautiful I had ever seen her. You could see in her face how good she felt about herself when she look at me when I was in awe about what she had done for me. The start of a great evening. She made me good in that tux. That's what I call accessories. I could not have bought a better accessory. We took more pictures. Had to prop the camera on a chair to take pictures of the two of us together. Time to go to the dance.
We went downstairs and sat at our table. The group appear to be very promising for a fun evening. And if they weren't we plan to get them going. After the introductions the band started to get going and the party began. We did a little dancing. I had been teaching her the basic swing step at her home but she wouldn't practice it much. We dance a little on the main dance floor in crowded space. it wasn't enough room to let loose. We decided to go to the other ballroom and see what was going on there. The band was getting ready to go on break. The DJ came on and the dance floor clear. He started playing an older swing dance song and I ask her to dance. When we started dancing, she immediately got out of time and I would bring her in to a close position to help her recover. Something click with her and I could tell she became more relax with herself and was gaining more confidence. That when I let loose. I took her all over that dance floor, simple spins for her to do to keep her comfortable. I did the more complicated turns. She stay with me making a few mistakes. We never stop. As we went around the dance floor I could see eyes train on us. When the song ended the crowd around the dance floor started clapping. The smile on her face was priceless.
A quick history on me and dancing, My Stepmother was a professional Ballroom Dancer and taught me to dance swing in my late teens. She hook me up with some people in the dance scene and I got a job teaching swing at Arthur Murray's during my college years. Also dance in a few contests.
When we got back into the main ballroom, midnight was approaching and took a long lingering kiss on the dance floor. She had a smile on her face that said nothing but fun. My face to. Funny thing about New Years is that the majority of the people leave right after midnight so the dance floor cleared a lot. So when a good high energy song came on, I didn't even ask, I just took her by the hand and led her to the dance floor. We dance and boy did we dance. It felt like time just froze, I didn't see anything but her face. The look on her face like the Visa commercials, PRICELESS, TOTALLY PRICELESS. That smile, her eyes, they were so bright. She stay with me like we were one. that what I like about dancing, it's the perfect foreplay, we were performing sex in our dance, as we went around the dance floor. The song linger on what seem to be an eternity. My leg ache ever so good, completely drain of all their energy. She told me her legs were hurting bad, but didn't went to stop. And when the song ended the crowd in the main ballroom started clapping. All of the tables around the dance floor and three deep. I think about a hundred people. She so trilled.
She couldn't stop talking about it. When we got back to our table they ask us how long we had been dancing together. First time. Nobody believe us. but it didn't matter. She told me she had been nervous all week about dancing with me. She was worry that I would get mad when she made a mistake. She said that she wanted to cancel for fear that I would not enjoy being out with her. Her defining moment with me was when we were dancing in the other ballroom and she made that first mistake, she look at my face and I wink at her and smile back and did something and we were in time again and we never seem to miss a beat, nobody but us knew, our little secret. The people watching never knew. She kept saying I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE CLAPPING FOR US. She said that has that happen.
I find that I respond so much better when my partner respond to me. There is so many ways to have foreplay. I love the whole process, why wouldn't you take your time. We went upstairs and fell asleep in each other arms. But seven am came quick.
mmmmmm Talk to you guys later.
