Timbers shake
The rafters quake
The doors are not secure.
Voices on the outside
beckon inside for a cure.
Villians creep while mothers weep
its a mournful, woeful sound
Their Fairy castles burning
the answer yet unfound

The fairies turn reluctantly as each castle is put to blaze
Pandora smiles triumphantly
as the fire fades
And no-one seems to notice
as they slowly slip away
the children sadly wave goodbye as the fairies move away

The magistrate debates the fate
of the common working fool
discarding all solutions
that may jeopardize their rule
for in self serving politics
their is no common ground
Their Fairy castles burning
the answer yet unfound

The fairies turn reluctantly as each castle is put to blaze
Pandora smiles triumphantly
as the fire fades
And no-one seems to notice
as they slowly slip away
the children sadly wave goodbye as the fairies move away
