Taking sides.

A young woman parked her car in the city today, in a hurry to meet up with her divorce lawyer on time and not miss the appointment. Her parked car stopped traffic for nearly an hour, as it was parked, carefully, across the tram lines.

Twelve trams had delays of an hour, with hundreds of not very happy passengers.

As the tow truck arrived, called by the local police, the woman arrived back from her appointment to drive away.

She took with her a bill for the tow truck, a bill for the police presence, a bill for loss of revenue for twelve trams, and - according to a police spokesman - the heartfelt sympathy of many passengers for her husband, and good wishes for his future as a divorced man.

The tow truck was there relatively quickly, but the trams run at ten minute intervals on one route, and fifteen on another and use the same line at this point. There would have been a backlog as a result of the one vehicle having to wait, so even 20 minutes would cause chaos. And it was rush hour ...
