Lucky?

An anonymous Samaritan has given a homeless Polish woman 41.000 Zloty (10.000 Euro).

Generosity has its price, though. Krystyna Szczepaniak, who has been homeless and living in the streets for 14 years, first checked with the police to see that the money was neither stolen nor faked. Who else gets wind of such luck? Since the money is seen as 'unexplained income' the Polish inland revenue have already demanded their portion of the money, 8.000 Zloty.

There is an old American adage that concerns death and taxes. It seems to come to mind for this post.
