Frustration yet again.

So, at the time of writing this there have been no updates to the Blogs whatsoever. That means people making posts are still waiting for their posts to be approved where, in a normal Blogging environment where the service is completely free, posts would have gone through automatically and without having to be vetted - including in Blog sites where all ages are catered for.

Are there improvements in AdultFriendFinder at the moment? Well, yes. Are they in areas where the improvements are desparately needed? It certainly doesn't seem so.

My post of 1:54 am is still awaiting approval, and you can see what time it is now from this post.

Frustrated. Yes. To the point of saying that it isn't worth it.

I think it's just a weekend thing.

Calm down.

My post from 6:24PM (PDT) sat on the most recent posts page until sometime this afternoon... about 18 hours. FF, Inc must not have had anyone to cover a couple shifts.

I really don't understand why they don't shift to an automatically posted environment. Then the request review button would possibly have some value... if they didnt automatically pull the post/blog just because someone hit the button.

jayR63: no, it isn't a weekend thing.

I'm told that there was a backlog. Roughly thirty minutes after I sent in my comment on the problem all the outstanding posts were aspproved. AdultFriendFinder has staff working during the weekends, as do most major Internet companies offering such a service, but sometimes they get overwhelmed with work too ...

nightstogether, it probably is a sunny day downtown wherever the review software is located and the thing just melted ....

goddessofthedawn: I am assured that the software used to review is, in reality, very human and not merely a string of 1s and 0s added together to form a simple whole. Although, in consideration of the problems, binary would be preferable at times.
