Apple Blossom.

The garden is starting to become a haven for those quiet moments when I need to get out and grab a quick breath of fresh air. All the trees have started blossoming; the apple, the pear and the three plum trees. All I need now is a couple of cherry trees at the front of the house and my world would seem to be complete.

Today is a day promising quiet contemplation and few, if any, interrurptions. It is the day I have set aside to work on the Crime Prevention Councils web site: a few hours work with newspaper articles; short biographies and photographs from the first event we organised. In between I will be able to drink a few pots of tea; perhaps read a little bit more Proust; go shopping for milk and bread. A relaxed day.

This evening it starts to go pear shaped again. I'm due in Bremen at eight for an open reading of the works of Lessing; back home round about midnight. At nine tomorrow morning I travel a few kilometres south to the Unterbezirkparteitag (political meeting), which will take up the entire Saturday. Sunday is taken up with a new exhibition in a local museum of hats from the region (very exciting, honest!) and then a birthday party in the afternoon for an Irish friend of mine. Hardly a relaxing weekend, but nonetheless better than being bored, as some people constantly seem to be.

The young lady with the lost tortoise popped in last night - naturally when I wasn't at home - and left a small box of chocolates and a Finder's Reward for the return of her precious creature, plus a handwritten note and a photograph of the speed freak with family. Now I know that it's name is Chilli, which seems just as appropriate for a tortoise as the temporary name of Speedy I had given him.

An answer from AdultFriendFinder on the problem with keithcancook's blog - marking it as watched - came through. The young lady (I assume) called Angel Y doesn't seem to have understood the problem, as she suggested that I hit Refresh a few times, or wait 24 - 48 hours for a change to happen. Funny, since every other blog I have as Watched appears on the list immediately ...

Yes, it seems that they cannot put their finger on why my blog is having problems. I do not think that they have looked at it individually. There are no changes in accessability to
The Venting Blog up to this point.

No matter, I can still post in my blog and sometimes the comments of others will stick in it. So I am continuing to blog and hope for the best. I posted elsewhither about poking fun at the service from time to time and will continue to do so. "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade".

I am very pleased that many of my friends here in blogland have rallied support behind me and continue to view my blog in spite of the difficulties.
