Well I did find her

Thankfully. She came home at 5 AM or so yowling at the door to be let in...She was gone for 2 1/2 days total..which is unlike her because. Normally I wouldnt worry but shes not an outdoor cat. I let her out sometimes if its nice but she doesnt wonder too far she's a scardy cat . She's fixed so she doesnt have that "need". She was very hungry starving I think...and covered in dirt. I think she may have been locked up in someone's shed or garage for a few days. Thats pretty much the only reason she wouldnt come home...and shes always doing that but usually it's just next door...and I can just ask the neighbor to open the door and she'll come right out...She rarely lets anyone but me pic her up...she typically throws a fit...but I got my kitty back so Im good...

She's an indoor cat for a reason.

Perhaps she's learned her lesson.

i am so happy she is home!!! happy dancing !!!!

a dear friends cat went missing for about 10 days.. he showed up at the apt. building door finally thinner and bedraggled.... we figure he got trapped in a garage somewhere and the people were away.. he developed serious kidney problems shortly after... likely due to lack of water... he was about 3lbs overweight when his ordeal began.. so that helped him survive..

my cat is not allowed out after dark..to many predators in the area... i start to get bug shit if she doesn't show up within an hour of being paged.. two hours and i am out looking climbing over rocks and covering all her known territory... three hours (about HER limit to torture me) and i am feeling physically ill...

Good to hear.

Come into my realm! You aren't afraid...are you?

YaY!!! Another reason why I have indoor cats. I was always afraid of them getting killed or taken. My one black striped tiger goes out every once in awhile (used to be everyday back at mom's house) but always on a collar and leash. He'll be happy to have a yard and a porch to play on next year when I move in with my bf.

Glad to hear she came back!

I'm leaving the site end of March. To those who want to keep in touch, see blog for details.

ohbaby - Hopefully she will learn by now to stay out of other peoples garages

LS - yea she likes to sneak into other peoples house and cars...thats what I was worried about shes nosy

Div - Well I dont think its fair for a animal to be completely indoors all the time unless its by their own accord...did I mention she is a female cat

krissy - Well we have coyotes around here so thats another thing that worried me...typically she comes back when you call her...or even before then because shes hungry and shes picky about her food...VERY picky...never known a cat to not like meat...

popmuse - I know what you mean...but I still feel a bit bad to keep animals cooped up...I like to let them out when its nice...but they can be a pain in the butt to get back in the house and my moms cat she used to harness up and take out on a leash but she doesnt anymore...I think in some ways thats not fair to the animal either...but thats just me...

hippie - I pet that pussy all the time sometimes even when I dont want to ...like when Im playin warcraft...

Cats..very intelligent animals. Maybe she just got brave and wanted to explore a bit? Happy for you that she's back. By the way..that comment from DIV...
