Shit! There I was being all nice and polite and all, replying to mails even just to say thanks, but no thanks. So, I now get the dreaded message that as a standard (read cheap) member I can't send any more mails. Of course there's always the option of paying, but who in their right minds pays hard earned $ just to be polite? Oh well, maybe people will understand. I hate to appear to blow people off, it's something I despise when done to me, but there it is.

I'm a cheap member also. No access to profiles really sucks. Once in a while AdultFriendFinder screws something up and gives me a peak at what profiles look like. But then, suddenly I get shut out for I don't ever know how long (days, weeks...).
Anyway, I have no idea about who you are or where your from, cause I'm not going to pony up the cash for it! Tell me and us something about you!
Welcome to blogville.

It's not easy to be polite on here when you only have a limited number of replies permitted, as a standard member. And, if people don't understand, the heck with them...lol.

Good luck

And thanks for visiting my blog too

Thanks for visiting everyone. It also brings about another problem - several messages in one day from the same person asking why I haven't replied. OMG, give me a fucking break! Even if I could reply, there's the little matter of reality, maybe I can't spend every waking minute here waiting for something to arrive in my mailbox. Well, excuse the hell out of me for having a life! At this point, even if I could reply I wouldn't.

Being a paid member, I don't know how the Standard Member thing works. Many other paid members probably don't know either. So, it would be easy for people to misconstrue your inability to answer as ignoring them. You can only do what you can do though.

KarmoHunny - thanks for visiting. I don't know the details exactly but it seems as if standard members are allowed to send so many emails (in my case I think it was 5) in any 24 hour period. I guess the thing is to just ignore people who write from 3 states away rather than send any kind of polite response (something like "are you nuts?" comes to mind)or cough up the money.

You're welcome, hun! Standard members really don't get much, do they? I'm guilty of sending email to people in different countries. I often have questions about something or just am being friendly. I'm not trying to arrange any kind of meeting or anything.

Have you turned on your automatic email reply? You can type in whatever message that you want and it sends it automatically. I don't know if it counts against the number of emails you can send though. Maybe you can check into that.

Hope you have a great weekend! It's hotter than Hell here! I won't be doing much this weekend with the temps in the 90s-100.

Hugs

Hey again! I'll look into that reply 'thing' - thanks. I have no problem with making friends and having conversations over 1,000's of miles but when it's obvious from the message they're trying to hook up, I have to wonder why - except that being that far away makes it easier to hide from the wife maybe.

Got to love air conditioning and a pool right now. Don't forget the sunscreen!
