That sinking feeling you get.

That sinking feeling you get.

I hate the horrible feeling of pending doom. Not necessarily death, but perhaps the end of a friendship, the lost of a treasured photo, a close friend moving across country things affect our lives in a way that change our outlook if only for a moment.

I learned today that a close friend of mine that I have know for a while is moving to another state, although we will most likely keep in touch though emails and phone calls, still I can't just run over and see her anytime I like. The thought of that scares me for some reason. Good friends are few and far between and when you find them it is hard to let them go. Even if it is only across the state line. She will always be a good friend but I suppose that with the distance in miles between us that it will become harder and harder to stay in touch over time. Sad how that happens.

Not only does it happen with friends but with family as well. A cousin of mine made a comment at my Mothers funeral a little over 7 yrs ago and it haunts me to this day still. He said "It seems like the only time the whole family gets together is when someone dies" It shouldn't be like that. Family and friends should stay close regardless, despite the petty quails, over stupid little things. It isn't worth it in the end, everyone suffers.

Damn it I am calling my brothers as soon as I get home from work tonight to tell them I love them, I don't care if it is after 1am.

Merry Christmas everyone.

sweetie, my best friend and I live 2 and half hours apart, so I can understand that "sinking feeling"

always remember; She may not be around the corner, and down the street, but in your heart, soul, thoughts and prayers, there she will be

hugs and smiles
merry christmas
