So, what is ATTITUDE?

Look around you at everything in your world that directly affects you. What do you see and feel? Does it please you or not? Whatever you're seeing or feeling, that’s your attitude. That’s how you paint all the happenings around you.

Some feel pretty cool about what they have, and that kind of daily life makes them happy. Others have the opposite response, and...well, they are often not as happy as they’d like to be. I know that over the years, I’ve struggled with how to handle both of these views of life.

Today, I’m finished with all of life’s drama. When the games of deceit, manipulation, and guilt (plus others) are finally gone, life seems to get a whole lot simpler. That’s my evolving attitude. There’s way more, but I’ll keep it simple for the moment.

Been pondering this group for a while now, figuring out exactly how I want to fit into it and allow it to happen around me. Haven’t fully decided all of that yet, but this blog is an expression of a part of what matters to me.

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m a thinker and a talker and a writer. I’m also a doer with a high level of motivation. I won’t get into most of that unless it’s of a nature related to purposes of this group, and I’ll save all of that for a later posting too.

So, I’m looking to associate with members who have an attitude that happy is easier that fear or pain or disappointment or upset. If this is what you also seek, let’s bring our voices together and find that common ground on which to play nice.

The purpose of this initial post is to make an appearance, ripple the AdultFriendFinder waters, and see what happens in the blog world around me.

I’m happy with it.

Many of use used to think happiness was having the biggest house/boat/car/…

But now a little older, I realize it is simply attitude. Most of a person’s overall attitude is developed at an early age. By kindergarten we are pretty much destined to have a good or bad attitude. It is VERY difficult to change this latter in life no matter how fast of a sports car you buy. Of course, having an expensive sports car will help you get laid.

seems to me that attitude changes with age and one's particular circumstances.

in high school, i lived one way--didn't really like it much. as a young marine, i lived a very different life--liked it better, got better results from it. over the next decade or so, i can remember several transition phases where life changed pretty drastically for me--no i didn't go tp prison or anything like that.

now to your comment...i bought an expensive sports car about 20 years. never felt it influenced my attitude or the getting laid part because at the time i was the founder of a successful silicon valley singles group. as i could pay for more expensive topy, i didn't really want them.

hey, this is just another view of life. in the final analysis, we're all correct, but that's another much bigger post.
