too early for greatness?

while i'm home today i'm gonna try and blog whenever something strikes my fancy. 've always wondered about those people that post 20 times a day...how do you find the time, the energy, the inspiration?? well the best way to try and understand something is to do it.

this is the second post of the day.

it's 8:51 a.m.

think i'll get up and have a donut...or is it doughnut? i'm blogging about the spelling of dounts (or is it doughnuts?)...i'm ready to scrap this whole idea if this is the best i can do. maybe it's just too early for greatness....goodness...hell right now i'd settle for "kinda doesn't suck!"

hmm...good morning everyone. i'll be back...sorry.

lol.

Do they have Krispy Kreme in Guam? Those are the bestest doughnuts/donuts in the world especially when the "Hot" sign is on.

I've always wondered about the doughnuts donuts thing. I'm betting doughnuts is the correct spelling while donuts is probably a brand specific spelling.

jeep-oh you wise, wise idiot. i think your donuts/doughnuts explanation sounds pretty accurate.

krispy kreme on guam? no but we've all made a beeline for the nearest one as soon as we've touched down on the mainland. mmm...yummy. i know we don't have 'em here but if you ever finally find your way to guam i'll make sure you never run out of hot, sweet creamy things to snack on. heh heh

Hey sweety. Great question about the doughnuts/donuts. Great answer by jeepidiot. oh man what I would do for a krispy creme or a dunkin doughnut/donut. Ever tried a good doughnut/donut with your fave icecream? i like to get a good glazed doughnut/donut and put it in a bowl and top it with ice cream. Put it in the microwave for a few seconds and its so good. I prefer the three origianl flvors on my doughnut/donut. But its to your liking. so while you recooperate at home... send "the man" out for a good glazed doughnut/donut and your fave ice cream. It is great comfort food. The best thing you need while your back is out is all the comfort you can get right? that includes COMFORT food.

Wow! What kinda meds did they put you on..?!!

.

My cake, errrr... take of this crisp conundrum is a combination of both the etymologically correct spelling (which accurately describes the boiling lard-dipped object in question), and the phonetically shortened spelling of the same delicate delicacy.

For years, I've called 'em, "Dog Nuts".

Not terribly accurate when referring to what you've got in the side-bar pic, here. Works a little better with donut holes, tho.

.

Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.

And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written!

Lately...
