Moving is a Little Harder Than Expected

We're doing all we can to be out of our apartment by tomorrow night, but's turning out to be harder than I thought. We're throwing everything out that isn't necessary. That includes a lot of our kids' toys and a few bags of their old clothes. And that's what is making this so hard. When I go to the dumpster and see their stuff in it, I can't help but start cry. And my husband keeps asking me about keeping some stuff or throwing other stuff away. I want to keep everything, but I know we can't. How's it all going to fit in the car?

The kids and I are staying at my mom's house until the first week of March. After the income tax and settlement come in, my husband is going to settle accounts that need to be settled, and then he's driving to New Hampshire with a friend of his. The rest of us are staying because my mom needs help around the house (whether she knows it or not) and because my sister is having her 15th birthday. In the Latin community, the 15th is the big party, not 16. So that'll give my husband a month to get stuff ready for us.

It doesn't make all this packing and throwing stuff away easy. And I just have to keep reminding myself that it is necessary.

You will not miss the stuff for very long, I promise. That which you truly cannot part (duh, why am I stating the obvious?)
