Diet Soda... Yuck!

Let me set the score straight. I had two kids, 13 months apart, and my younger child is 18 months old. After all this time, it's no longer "baby weight". I wish I could still pass it off as that, but it's not fooling me anymore.

My doctor suggested I try to lose some weight before doing anything drastic, like plastic surgery. So, I've been sent to two different weight managemant classes, and a dietician. It turns out, my fondness for all the fast food options here in town isn't doing me any good. Now, I've been told to stop eating out so often, and to make my portion sizes smaller. Oh, and don't forget the diet soda...

Diet soda?!? Yuck!! I'd rather drink beer everyday (and those who know me know that I hate the stuff). Turns out, the soda companies have figured that out. Apparently they've been working on diet sodas that don't taste so nasty. And I have tried a few of them, almost against my will. (My husband refuses to buy me regular soda now, the stupid head). And I am glad to report, Diet Cherry 7-Up and Coca-Cola Zero taste the most like regular, and I am eff-ing thrilled about this! Although I prefer Pepsi to Coke, both versions of diet Pepsi still taste diet, although the Pepsi One doesn't taste as bad.

Hopefully, between changing my eating habits, portion sizes, drinking diet, and killing myself twice a week in TaeKwonDo, I'll be able to drop the weight needed. Wish me luck!!

Try Diet Mt dew with about 10% fruit juice ... preferably a "tropical" mix ... I suggest Welches Passionfruit (it's mostly grape or apple).

just a thought

have been drinking the stuff for 18 years and as you can see I'm no too bad off.

cheers

Good luck to you and keep trying. I found it nearly impossible to lose all the weight after my 2nd child and my kids were 8 years apart. Sensible is the way to go and it sounds like you are on the right road.
