Crossroads

Ok I told myself I would keep this updated but I guess time has escaped me.
I have found myself at a crossroad in life. On one had I have a very secure job that I really am good at but like very much and on the other hand I have a chance to go back to school and get into a new field that I enjoy and have some experience in.
At first the choice was a no brainier get the ed. and get the job but as always some doubts creep in. The cost, the time, the bills that need to be paid. This started me to wonder does security in a job cause us to be complacent. I think I have become that way so I intend to move forward with this new opp. and hopefully improve my life overall because I will be much happier with my job. So my question if anyone cares to answer is would you make a change midstream in your life?

hi naked4u, you should ask yourself if you will have any regrets if you don't make the change. you sure don't want to spend the rest of your life thinking about 'what if' you would have made the change but didn't. does that make sense?

if given the opportunity, i would change midstream in my life, even withouot knowing the outcome, if i'd be successful or not.

kiss

thanks all yeah I have to agree with what you are telling me. I cant stand what if's for sure and having the chance and letting it slip away Id probaby kick myself forever if I didnt at least give it a try. And NY it would be the second for sure. Your words are wise and I will try with all my power to make it happen.

I have made a few of those decisions, usually one day I decide where I was wasn't cutting it so with a snap I changed the situation. I did it once while I had a family of small kids in the house, they all got up and went on with they're day and I sat at the kitchen table in total shock but you know what I went out picked a new place to work and went on - no regrets. If your not happy its up to you to fix it. Now though I'm in that damn trap 7 years to go to retire so there will be no changes here till then, your getting close keep that in mind.

Naked, I've been in your shoes. Follow your heart, life is too short to settle for just being comfortable. Embrace the challenge of change and enjoy.
