One moment please.....

I was reading today and found this line very simple but important. I want to share it with you...."Life's magnificence is a product of its' moments."

Lately, I've thinking a lot about time - the need for more time or lack of. And, when I came across that line, it reminded me of moments in time in my life that has changed me, or at least the way I think or feel about certain things or people. I feel it is very important to evaluate the moments in one's life. In the course of it, perhaps we can define ourselves?

Lately also, I've been spilling my thoughts out here, more than I ought to when I should just sit down and be quiet.

The story of my life....

That is why it is so important not to be a bench warmer but a doer in life.

Until later

" Although we have been made to believe that if we let go we will end up with nothing, life reveals just the opposite: that letting go is the real path to freedom."-- Sogyal Rinpoche...anyways i am sure that the passage you quoted was written by the author after watching "First 50 Dates"

I remember just quoting a line? Not a passage.

Rinpoche is a passage you quoted. As I try to relate it to what I wrote, I can't really see a connection? Maybe you care to explain or was it just something you wanted to share?

Hhmm..."First 50 Dates"? I honestly do not know anything about that, or the author.

the passage or line you quoted is from quite a famous buddhist saying...rinpoche is a tibetan title given to "living buddhas" and sogyal rinpoche is the author of the celebrated book called "the tibetan book of living and dying" although the passage i quoted is from another book...and finally, "first 50 dates" is the ultimate romantic love story of the 21st century...go rent the will make you cry and laugh all at the same time...enjoy!

Right, thanks for the info. I didn't know it has anything to do with religion.

Taking the time today, to re-evaluate what one has done yesterday, can greatly assist in making a much better tomorrow. *smiling*
