Riddle Me this...

There are some movies all playing on my mind matching feelings... some are titles some are clips described, one is a question on my mind... see if you can name all of them... or tell me what they were about if I give a movie title.. for they are all on my mind.. playing now.. together.. I wonder how these combined movies will end.. or what they'll begin.. lol (Movie Title is in bold type)

Zomgz you get to name the prize.. for "once" the riddle is solved.. but for fun.. first - I give another riddle to answer for extra credit, a story not on my list of prizes for the correct answer to that one, I will provide - I will give the answer to the extra credit one tomorrow.. no correct answer - no story lol

EXTRA CREDIT.. "How many times can you subtract 6 from 30?"

Ok.. for the riddle now..

1-Paint Your Wagon

2-Julia Roberts runs into her bed or is it her bed? and laughs and pounds the bed like a school girl realizing her dreams are truths.. (what is the movie?)

3- Merryl Strep - on the porch with a ice cube in solitude... attempting to cool summers heat with the photographers pictures of bridges in her mind... (you better hope the ladies help you with this one Z..)...I think I need a bath.. giggling.. or a shower.. mmmmm oh sorry stuck in other parts of that movie for a moment.. (what is the movie?)

4- A man and woman meet by chance at a romantic inn over dinner. Although both are married to others, they find themselves in the same bed the next morning questioning how this could have happened. They agree to meet on the same weekend each year. Originally a stage play, the two are seen changing, years apart, always in the same room in different scenes. Each of them always appears on schedule, but as time goes on each has some personal crisis that the other helps them through, often without both of them understanding what is going on.. (What is the movie?)

5-What is the movie to the picture in this blog? And what "location" are they at - at the time, in the movie?

BLOG GODS YOU ARE IRRITATING ME... WITH YOUR PUSHING LINES TOGETHER THAT SHOULDN'T BE TOGETHER... grrrrr

Wow! At least the last riddle was only one movie

I'll start with the extra credit since the story sounds mysterious.
"How many times can you subtract 6 from 30?"
Once. To try and subract more, you'd be subracting from twenty four.

As for the movies, no way can I answer them in my first post. Thought is required. But I do have an answer or two off the cuff.

1) A movie where Julia Roberts is giddy as a school girl? Gee, that narrows it down Sleeping with the Enemy?

3) Hazarding a guess based upon your clue... Bridges of Madison County? (And no, I've never seen it)

4) Uh... I'll have to get back to you on that one.

5) The picture is too small! Jimmy Stewart? It's a Wonderful Life?

On a side note...
A riddle for you,
what happened to movie two?
1, 3, 4, 5....
Something does not jive

1) I can't lie, I've never seen it. I know it's a Western'ish movie, but only because Eastwood is in it. Beyond that, I'd only be cutting and pasting stuff from the movie database.

2)A movie where Julia Roberts is giddy as a school girl? Gee, that narrows it down Sleeping with the Enemy maybe?

3) Hazarding a guess based upon your clue... Bridges of Madison County? (And no, I've never seen it)

4) Uh... I'll have to get back to you on that one.

5) The picture is too small! Jimmy Stewart? It's a Wonderful Life?

[Edit: I deleted my comment and reposted, having missed the separation of questions one and two]

Well...6 can be subtracted from 30=once!

5) An Affair To remember! Gary Grant(Nickie) has taken Deborah Kerr (Terry) to visit his Grandmother Janou at her home in Greece.

4)Same Time, Next Year. Ellen Burstyn & Alan Alda.

3)Bridges of Madison County

2)Mona Lisa Smile

1)A Michigan farmer and a prospector form a partnership in the California gold country. Their adventures include buying and sharing a wife, hijacking a stage, kidnaping six prostitutes, and turning their mining camp into a boomtown. Along the way there is plenty of drinking, gambling, and singing. They even find time to do some creative gold mining.

1. Paint your wagon is a Clint Eastwood movie, who if I 'm not mistaken wrote the music and actually sings.

2. I 'm not sure, I 'll go with Pretty Woman.

3. That 's easy, Bridges of Madison County.

4. Same time next year. Alan Alda, Ellen Burstyn.

5. An affair to remeber, only it 's Italy not Greece.

extra credit... once of course...

confession: I did have some help in the movie questions.

Well, I figured I'd wait to see if I was right or wrong before I made any demands for prizes. I don't like to get ahead of myself(not to be confused with getting head) Besides, I don't think it's so bad if you pick. I highly doubt there will be any bad stories.

Actually, we are both wrong. Nickie's grandmother lives in the South of France -- The French Riviera. I looked it up, mysteriesofme.
