People Online

I have noticed in perusing the people online in my area, that even though they really want to meet others, they never go to the chat. How in the world, besides email which takes forever sometimes, can a person contact you unless you chat. It is very easy to do, just launch the chat when you go online. There are several people that both D and I would like to chat with and hopefully meet, but we can't because they are not on.

If you want to meet, chat. Simple. Yes?

That is an easy way, but it doesn't always work b/c of schedules and such. A couple of e-mails first, and then set up a time to chat. Or, if you'd rather, check out people's profiles while you're in the chat room. When you see one you like get their attention and start the conversation there. I'll admit that your idea sounds good on paper but even I personally wouldn't run to the chat room just to talk to someone at a certain time without emailing them several times.

simple? no the FFIMC is riddled with Bugs....

which is why so few use it and I really don't think they have any interest in fixing it as it enables people to contact each other while remaining free members and is alot less hectic and public than the chat rooms
