Long, Longer, Longest....

I find that people don't always say what they mean. For instance, when someone says I'm not looking for a "long term relationship"...I believe they are saying I don't want a smothering, 24/7, joined at the hip, no time for myself relationship...not someone who you like and are comfortable with and have fun with that you would like to see maybe once, or twice a week maybe even more depending on scheduling and/or need I wouldn't mind having that kind of long term relationship...not necessarily moving in together but visiting can be nice...
besides what does long term mean anymore anyway? Some relationships last months, some years, some forever...when we begin one do we necessarily put a time limit on it?

kind thoughts,
Moonfire

I'd love to make lifetime friends...
whatever that may mean...
but you've hit it on the head...
there is no one I want to be connected to the hip with, 24/7...

Great thoughts!
