I Need a Man
I Need a Man
Gloria Steinem once wrote an article for her now defunct "MS" magazine entitled "I want a wife".
I was always amused and intrigued by her words there and some time ago wrote my own version of that in the reverse. It has been misplaced by the many moves I have made since my college days, but I think it is time to revamp it due to my maturity and differing needs.
I need a man. Any man will do, just as long as he can meet the criterion I set forth. Nothing too much; just a few..
I need a man who can wash windows, change the oil in the car, fix the leaky faucet and put in the landscaping lights.
I need a man. One who will keep me smiling, wipe away my tears, take me to dinner, and drive me wild in bed. A man who knows he is the best because he believes he has won the best, but does not have the need to brag about being the best.
I need a man who will party with me and my friends, but be the string on my balloon. A man who will make me laugh, let me laugh, laugh with me and laugh at me. A man who understands my need to flirt and get attention, but knows when to draw the line for himself.
I need a man who can read my mind, but not speak my mind. A man who had his own mind, but also respects that others do too.
and an anchor in the storms of life

looks like you need an "Old Fashioned Guy"!! There are a few of us out there, but most are taken. Would you settle for being a friend first?|
